Terms of service

The deal, plainly.

These terms are an agreement between you (and the business you sign up for) and 1Business Box Innovations Inc. (“1BB”, “we”), based in Markham, Ontario. They cover the 1bb.ai website and the 1BB app at app.1bb.ai. By using either, you agree to them.

What 1BB is

1BB is a crew of AI marketing agents that research, write, report and follow up for your business. The crew proposes; you decide. Anything that spends money, sends outreach or publishes publicly waits for your Approve. Ad accounts are read-only to 1BB, so changes to your ads are always made by you.

Your account

  • You must be at least 18 and able to act for the business you add to 1BB.
  • Keep access to your sign-in email secure; actions taken from your account are treated as yours.
  • You can invite others to a business. You're responsible for who you give access to.

Your content and data

You own your business data and everything the crew makes for you: posts, reports, emails and the rest. You give us permission to store and process it only to run 1BB for you, as described in our privacy policy. You can export it any time, and cancelling doesn't delete it unless you ask us to.

Connected accounts

When you connect an account (such as Google, Meta, Shopify, Stripe or GoHighLevel), you confirm you're allowed to, and you authorize 1BB to access it within the permissions you approved. Those services are run by other companies under their own terms. 1BB isn't responsible for their outages, changes or decisions. You can disconnect any account at any time.

You review what goes out

AI can make mistakes. Content, recommendations and reports from 1BB are drafts and suggestions. Before you approve something, check that it's accurate, that you have the right to publish it, and that it follows the laws that apply to you (for example advertising, privacy and anti-spam rules, including consent for the contacts you email). Once you approve it, you're the publisher.

Acceptable use

Don't use 1BB to:

  • send spam or contact people without the consent the law requires;
  • publish anything illegal, deceptive, infringing or harmful;
  • break the rules of the platforms you connect;
  • try to access other businesses' data, disrupt the service, or reverse-engineer it.

We may pause or close an account that does, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Plans and payment

Paid plans are billed as shown when you sign up or change plans. Unless your plan says otherwise, you can cancel any time and your plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for. If you bring your own AI keys, the AI provider bills you directly for that usage. We'll give you notice before any price change takes effect.

Availability and changes

We work hard to keep 1BB running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We improve the product often and may change or retire features. If a change materially reduces what you're paying for, we'll tell you first.

Limits on liability

To the extent the law allows, 1BB is provided “as is”, and we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits, lost revenue or lost data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits rights you have that the law doesn't allow us to limit.

Ending the agreement

You can stop using 1BB and cancel at any time. We can end the agreement with 30 days' notice, or right away if you seriously break these terms. Either way, you can still request your data export or its deletion.

Law and changes to these terms

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes go to the courts of Ontario. If we update these terms, we'll post the new version here and tell you about meaningful changes before they apply.
